Walk around and discover Athens

“Athens. The city is the museum”,
a campaign aiming to promote Athens as an all-year round tourism destination, has received a total of 7 Ermis Awards including 4 gold, 1 silver and two bronze.

Organized by the Hellenic Association of Advertising-Communication Agencies (Atcom Sales), the Ermis Awards is a leading annual event for the advertising and communication industry in Greece. The campaign was honored with four gold awards in the “Campaigns”, “Social Content Strategies”, “Brand Experience” and “Advertising Films Production” categories.

Launched in 2022 by the City of Athens, Greece, the Tourism Ministry and Google, the “Athens. The city is the museum” initiative is calling on the Greek capital’s visitors and residents to walk around and discover its rich history and cultural heritage that make Athens an open-air museum. Its video, created in partnership with Cream Rascal, in November was broadcast for 2 weeks through the impressive giant billboards of Times Square in New York.
